Condo Living isn't for everyone, but it has great appeal or many people. The condo fee can sometimes scare buyers, but there is a lot that comes with those fees.

Maintence Free Lifestyle - Grounds Maintence is included, no need to worry about the lawn in these condos, spend the weekend out on the beach or on your sailboat instead of cutting the grass.

Master Insurance Policy - Part of the condo fee includes the master insurance on the building. The only insurance you pay is "walls in" to include your personal possessions.

Community Amenities - Many condos have amenities for the association to share.

Some buyers are concerned about the rules that come with an association. In Virginia, after an offer to purchase has been ratified, the buyer will be given a current copy of the Condo Associations Rules and Bylaws. The buyer will have 3 days to review the condo packet - if there is ANYTHING in the packet the buyer doesn't like, they can cancel the contract and receive 100% of their deposit back.
